Bloor Homes – first phase of Penkridge North
Alongside the outline applications being prepared for Penkridge North, a detailed planning application is being prepared by Bloor Homes for the first phase of the new neighbourhood. This relates to land controlled by Bloor Homes to the east of Stafford Road, opposite the existing Bloor Homes development. This first phase will be accessed from the existing roundabout on Stafford Road via a new fourth arm, and will deliver a mix of approximately 135 new homes.

What is an outline planning application?
An outline planning application establishes the general principles of how a site can be developed, eg establishing overall housing numbers, general description of development etc. Matters of detail such as layout, design, appearance, materials, landscape treatments etc are reserved by condition to be established by subsequent “reserved matters” planning applications, which will also be subject to further consultation with the community and statutory consultees.
